The Entroview adventure began in July 2014 by a swimming pool. During a barbecue in Singapore, Sohaïb El Outmani met one of the inventors of the Lithium battery.
This impromptu encounter led to a great intellectual upheaval and fruitful exchanges that would lead Sohaïb to a joint thesis at GIPSA-lab (Grenoble INP - UGA, UGA, CNRS) and at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore starting from August 2015.
A thesis co-directed by Olivier Sename and Pierre Granjon, both lecturers-researchers at GIPSA-lab.
Two patents are then filed on the research results.
Sohaïb and his two thesis supervisors discover the possibilities offered by the understanding of the entropy of Lithium-Ion batteries and the potential applications allowing for better characterization and diagnosis of these.
In February 2019, the Entroview project is officially supported by SATT Linksium, through a maturation program allowing for further developments within the Gipsa Lab.
In December 2019, during a presentation at Bercy, during the Ecotech Energy meetings, Sohaïb meets Gaëtan Depaëpe who is seduced by the project.
In February 2020, Sohaïb is the winner of the I-Phd competition, and during the year the project takes shape, and in September 2020, following the advice of the SATT, he decides to look for a CEO to accompany him in the adventure.
At the same time, he finds out that Gaëtan is ending his adventure in the deep-tech start-up that he co-directed, they get back in touch, and after multiple constructive exchanges, they decide to embark together on the entrepreneurial adventure in December 2020 and to partner in the creation of the start up which will be officially launched in July 2021.
Since these initial stages, time has flown by, but our dedication and hard work have only intensified. Entroview has successfully secured numerous proof of concept validations, proving the efficacy and value of our unique entropy method analysis.
We have also broadened our network of stakeholders, forming valuable partnerships that enhance our ability to serve a wide range of industries.
Most importantly, we have expanded our team.
Today, we are a dynamic group of 7 individuals, each bringing a unique skill set and perspective to the table.
Our team is united by a shared vision and passion for advancing the field of battery diagnostics and contributing to a more sustainable future.
At Entroview, we are deeply committed to the creation of a sustainable future fueled by smart batteries.
