Why is this role a good fit for you?
Entroview is at a pivotal moment: the technology is validated, our first customers are on board, and we now need to understand exactly who our customers are, why they buy, and where the next ones are. That is exactly the purpose of this role.
You won’t be executing a pre-written marketing plan, you’ll help write it. Working directly with the founders, you’ll conduct structured exploratory work: mapping segments, qualifying leads, and identifying messages that resonate. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to understand how a deep-tech company builds its market from the inside out.
At the end of the assignment, the top candidates will be offered a permanent position on the team.
Your responsibilities:
- Map and segment Entroview’s target markets: end-of-life vehicle dismantlers, EV repair shops, insurers, OEMs, and players in the battery second-life sector, in France and across Europe
- Conduct qualitative interviews with prospects and customers to understand their jobs-to-be-done, barriers to purchase, and decision-making criteria
- Build and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) by segment, by cross-referencing field data with market data
- Analyze competitive positioning and identify underutilized differentiation opportunities
- Produce actionable deliverables for the sales team: segment fact sheets, sales scripts, and presentation materials
- Contribute to initial discussions on content and visibility strategy in collaboration with the marketing & sales team (though this is not the core focus of the role)
What we’re looking for:
- A structured and curious individual capable of conducting rigorous analysis in a poorly documented industrial market
- Comfortable with both qualitative interviews and synthesizing and presenting insights
- An appetite for early-stage environments where topics are not yet defined; you enjoy building, not just executing
- A strong communicator, capable of explaining technical topics to non-expert audiences
Required qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree (Bac+5): MS in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Strategy
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies
- Strong writing skills in French; professional-level English is a plus
- Proficiency in Canva / Notion / Claude for formatting deliverables
Optional skills:
- Knowledge of or interest in the automotive sector, electric mobility, or energy
- Experience with field interviews or approaches such as Jobs-to-be-Done and Design Thinking
- Experience with market intelligence tools (Semrush, Statista, industry databases, etc.)
- Experience in a startup or product launch environment
